French Quarter Cafe

Live jazz music at the French Quarter Cafe

Chef and owner Mike Raso

French Quarter Cafe

In 1996, the French Quarter Café opened its doors in the Elk Run Industrial Park in Canmore
Alberta Canada. Owner and Chef, Mike Raso first came up with the idea for his restaurant after
a trip to New Orleans in 1994 falling in love with the cuisine and it's people. Shortly after he went to work sharing this wonderful food with the residents of Canmore.
Boasting Cajun and Creole dining that include favorites like Jambalaya, Blackened Red Snapper
and Crawfish the French Quarter Café is considered one of the finest restaurants in the Banff and Canmore area serving customers from all over the world.

The menu is very popular, and reservations are recommended. You can even make a reservation using the online contact form!
Decorated with Jazz memorabilia and art the French Quarter Café is most definitely a "Jazzy Little Joint" which will make you feel as if you are in the Heart of New Orleans.

Every second Friday you can drop by and enjoy Live Jazz and a great meal washed down with
some Mississippi Mud or our secret concoction "Voodoo Coffee".
While you're visiting Canmore in the Canadian Rockies, the French Quarter Café is a "must stop"
for those looking for a wonderfully unique dining experience.

Don't forget to purchase our own special Cajun and Creole Seasonings to take home with you.
