Chez Francois is a family based restaurant. Jean-Francois Gouin and wife Sylvie and four sons
have catered to our loyal local based clientele from Canmore, Calgary and surrounding area since 1989.

Our mission is to serve fresh, homemade, tasty food in a friendly professional atmosphere. As well, we like to give the passion of cuisine and service to our employees.

People from all over the world have visited us and gave us energy to continue this long journey. Our dedicated co-workers have helped us over the years to continue this journey. It is hard to compete
with the ever changing spectacular view of the nature surrounding us. Francois has conducted the restaurant with passion since the beginning.

Many young apprentices have worked with him and became part of our family. We are happy to
see that some became Chef's themselves. Francois's two older sons, Olivier and Dominik have become well skilled Chefs and the two youngest, Nicolas 15 and Sebastien 11 are still in training.

Cooking can be a profession or a great hobby! It will always be a helpful skill since eating is a pleasure of life!

Olivier has just opened his own restaurant "O" BISTRO on Main Street catering to lunch and
dinner (beside Grizzly Paw brewery).

It is always a pleasure to see our children back. Without them, we couldn't have survived.
