Delta Lodge at Kananaskis |
| |

With tales of a ghost town, travelling
Stoney Indians, a former POW camp and the long-forgotten tunnels of a
coal mine, Alberta's Kananaskis Country has a storied heritage to rival
its many spectacular outdoor and recreational pursuits.
The 4,000 square kilometres of Kananaskis Country, one of eight
provincial parks and wildlife areas, including Banff and Lake Louise, is
an outdoor playground for all ages. Cross-country ski through fresh
powder or bound over the moguls at Nakiska, site of the 1988 Olympic
Alpine events. Did you know the national ski teams from Canada, Germany,
Norway and Sweden train here?
Travel one hour west of Calgary, along Highway 40, to Kananaskis Village
and you will find Delta Lodge at Kananaskis, "Alberta's Mountain Lodge
and Spa." Prestigious enough to attract the G8 world leaders, Delta
Lodge at Kananaskis is the perfect place to call home while you explore
the Kananaskis Valley of Adventure.
The Rocky Mountain Activities Desk is a useful service for those
individuals interested in creating a memorable and magical holiday. The
purpose of this desk is to give our guests the opportunity to
“customize” their holiday by choosing their adventures and activities
during their stay at the Lodge. Our knowledgeable desk agents will be
able to answer general questions regarding transportation options, local
activities, spa appointments, dining reservations and more.
Children will also receive exceptional service as they “check-in” to the
Kananaskis Kids Club. Each month a wide variety of complimentary
activities are offered for children ranging from 5-12 years of age.
Children will also receive an exciting gift pack full of toys and games
and can fill out a registration card, which officially enrolls them in
our Club. Once in the club, Children will receive a quarterly newsletter
filled with games, contests puzzles and information on the Kananaskis
Valley.
If you are looking for action and adventure outside the Lodge, we have a
convenient voucher system in place for a wide variety of outdoor
adventures in and around the Kananaskis Valley. We can book your
adventure and conveniently charge your room for a variety of outdoor
