The Hostel Bear sleeps 144 guests. The spacious dorm rooms sleep 6 - 8 guests, with privacy curtains on each bunk. In room lockers, in addition each room has its own private washroom! Outstanding for hostel style accommodation!

The Hostel Bear also has a large fully equipped kitchen, free wireless access, extra washrooms in hallways and affordable laundry facilities. The large common area includes video games, large plasma screen TV's, leather couches, pool table and a bar (to be opening soon).

Canmore is a mountain town, a town of all seasons. Located just outside Banff National Park and surrounded by 9 provincial parks including Kananaskis Country. One and a half hours from Calgary International Airport. Within 15-60mins drive to enjoy one of the 4 ski resorts located here in the Bow Valley. With Sunshine Village Ski Resort, Lake Louise Ski Resort, Mt Norquay Ski Resort and Nakiska Ski Resort there are runs for every level! The outdoor activities will keep every traveler busy!!! Ice climbing, rafting some of Canada's most impressive rivers (summer only), dog sledding, mountaineering, skiing, hiking, golf, cross country skiing just to mention a few!
